Frequently Asked Questions

  • Authorized and Accountable

J.L. Wright & Co. is an authorized dealer for every new watch we sell. Each piece is sourced through official distribution, arrives with its full factory warranty, and is received, inspected, and delivered by us personally.

  • Private Viewings

We do not keep a walk-in floor. We come to you: viewings are held in a private meeting room convenient to you, at no cost and with no obligation to purchase. Tell us what you would like to see and we will bring it. Expect an unhurried hour with the watches in hand, and a conversation rather than a sales floor.

Ordering and Shipping

Q: Can I purchase online, or must I visit?

A: Either. Every piece on the site may be purchased directly through secure checkout, and collectors across the country are welcome. Those in Houston may prefer to see the piece first, or to collect it in person by appointment.

Q: How are watches shipped?

A: All watch orders ship fully insured, with signature required upon delivery. We ship within the United States. In-stock pieces dispatch within three business days of cleared payment, and tracking follows by email.

Q: What does Special Order mean?

A: A piece marked Special Order is not presently in our vault but is available to us through official distribution. Placing the order secures the piece. We confirm the expected timeline with you at the time of order and keep you informed until it arrives.

Q: May I collect my watch in person?

A: Yes. Local collection in Houston is available by appointment for collectors who prefer to receive their piece in hand.

Payment

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through secure checkout. Bank wire and ACH transfer are also available, and many collectors prefer them for higher-value pieces.

Q: Is a deposit required to reserve a piece?

A: Payment secures the specific timepiece and is a binding commitment once placed. For pieces not yet in hand, we confirm the arrangement with you directly before anything is charged.

Warranty and Service

Q: Do your watches carry a factory warranty?

A: Yes. As an authorized dealer of our watchmakers, every new timepiece we sell carries its manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.

Q: Who do I contact if my watch needs service?

A: Write to us. As your authorized dealer we remain your point of contact and will coordinate inspection, repair, or replacement with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: In-stock pieces may be returned within 48 hours of delivery, subject to the terms set out in our Refund Policy Special orders and individually numbered limited editions are final sale.
