Tutima M2 ZSM Chronograph Black (6450-03)

The M2 is the current form of the NATO chronograph Tutima developed in 1984 for the German armed forces. The requirement was severe: legible and reliable at fifteen thousand metres above sea level, and unaffected by shock, vibration and acceleration up to seven g in any direction. The Swiss Lémania 5100 that answered it is long out of production, so the M2 carries Caliber Tutima 521 instead, running forty-eight hours from full wind and driving a centre sweep minute counter, a twelve hour counter on its own scale, small seconds, a twenty-four hour display and the date.

The case is solid pearlblasted titanium, 46mm across and 15.5mm deep, pressure tested to thirty atmospheres, with a soft iron inner case that binds magnetic fields before they reach the movement. The pushers sit integrated into the flank and are inlaid with grooved neoprene for grip.
