Schwarz Etienne 1902 Synergy by Peter Speake White Sapphire (WCL39RDMPSMSE17TINGABCLA)

Peter Speake is an English watchmaker with a graphic language of his own, and the Synergy is what happens when it meets the Schwarz Etienne manufacture. The base is the 1902 Réserve de Marche, in Grade 5 titanium at 39mm across and 10.9mm deep, but the dial is rebuilt in layers. White lacquer sits beneath shaped sapphire, some elements ground to 0.35mm, and the manufacture's name is carried on a further pane of clear sapphire in three-dimensional Prussian blue. Numerals in the same blue are answered by orange at three, six, nine and twelve.

The power reserve indicator sits in the upper right quadrant, an ice-white semicircle in azurage inside a Prussian blue track, read by a serpentine hand that is a signature of Speake's own work. Small seconds are recessed at six. Behind it runs the MSE 311.00, wound by hand and drawing on two barrels. The power reserve is one hundred and twenty hours. The ratchet wheels are engraved and filled by hand with blue lacquer, one reading Unique edition of 88 pieces and the other Synergy by Peter Speake. On a blue textured textile strap with a rubber lining and a Grade 5 titanium pin buckle. Limited to eighty-eight pieces.
