Tutima Flieger T5 Glossy Blue (6109-03)

The Flieger T5 brings Grade 5 titanium to the three hand Flieger, and does it in the most compact case the modern Flieger has worn: 38.5mm across and 12.5mm deep. Tutima chose titanium decades ago for the Bundeswehr and NATO chronographs and has built with it ever since. It runs about forty per cent lighter than steel, antimagnetic and slow to scratch. The case is water resistant to ten atmospheres, the crown screws down, and a domed anti-reflective sapphire sits over the dial with a second sapphire set into the back.

Beneath it runs the self-winding Caliber Tutima 330, its rotor rhodanized and sealed in gold, giving forty-one hours from full wind and the date. The dial is glossy blue, with the pilot's triangle at the twelve and Super-LumiNova on the numerals, the baton markers and the hands. On a light brown Horween leather strap with folding clasp.
