Tutima Grand Flieger Airport Chronograph Blue Dégradé (6407-02)

Tutima calls the Airport Chronograph a modern Flieger chronograph for the twenty-first century. It is the fuller expression of the Grand Flieger, itself the current reedition of the pilot's chronograph the company built in the 1940s. The stainless steel case is 41mm across and 16mm deep, water resistant to twenty atmospheres, with a screwed crown, a ceramic bezel that turns in either direction and carries a luminous marker and a red reference point, a domed anti-reflective sapphire over the dial and a second sapphire set into the back. Inside is the self-winding Caliber Tutima 310, its rotor rhodanized and sealed in gold, running forty-eight hours from full wind.

The chronograph reads across a thirty minute counter, a twelve hour counter and a sweep seconds counter, with small seconds, the day and the date alongside. The dial is a blue dégradé, matched to a blue ceramic bezel insert, and the twelve hour indicator is picked out in red. On a stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.
