Tutima Lady Sky White Bicolor (6705-22)

Tutima has been in Glashütte since 1927, and with the Lady Sky the manufactory turned its hand to something the collection had left largely unsaid: self-confident femininity amid a line long known for masculine elegance. The reference is the Golden Twenties, the optimism of the decade rather than its ornament. The dial carries a fine relief of hexagons gathered into a star of twelve triangular facets, embossed so that it takes the light at different angles and holds the shading between them.

The case is stainless steel, 34mm across and 10.1mm deep, crowned by a bezel in eighteen carat gold, pressure tested to five atmospheres, with a screwed crown and a domed anti-reflective sapphire above. A second sapphire in the back shows the self-winding Caliber Tutima 335, its rotor rhodium plated and carrying the gold seal, twenty-six jewels, running forty-one hours from full wind and driving the date at the three.
