The M2 is the current form of the NATO chronograph Tutima developed in 1984 for the German armed forces. The specification called for a watch legible and reliable at fifteen thousand metres above sea level, and unaffected by shock, vibration and acceleration up to seven g in any direction. The Swiss Lémania 5100 that answered it is long out of production, so the M2 carries Caliber Tutima 521 instead, running forty-eight hours from full wind. Here the display is pared back. Elapsed seconds and minutes are read from two central hands and elapsed hours from the single counter at six, with no running seconds or twenty-four hour subdial to crowd the dial, and the date at three.

The case is solid pearlblasted titanium, 46mm across and 15.5mm deep, pressure tested to thirty atmospheres, the pushers integrated into the flank with a non-slip surface. The dial is a green dégradé, bright at the centre and darkening toward the chapter ring, the numerals, indices and hands coated in Super-LumiNova and the hour counter picked out in orange. Anti-reflective sapphire above, screwed crown and screwed back. On a solid titanium bracelet with folding clasp.
