Patria is Latin for homeland, and this is the line in its original form, in gold and at full size. Inside is the hand-wound Caliber Tutima 617, built at the Glashütte manufacture with a three-quarter plate, an openworked balance cock, and ruby bearings set in screwed gold chatons. The balance runs without an index, regulated by screws against a Breguet overcoil, at 21,600 vibrations an hour and sixty-five hours from full wind. All of it sits behind a sapphire caseback.
The case is eighteen carat rose gold, 43mm across and 11.2mm deep, under a domed sapphire crystal treated against reflection. The dial is finely silver-plated, quiet at first glance, with the seconds running in a large off-centre circle. On an alligator strap with a pin buckle in matching eighteen carat rose gold.
